About us
STEREO 8-track was launched in January 2025, as an extension of our Facebook group that has existed since 2013. The website is designed to be a neat, informative and inspiring gathering point for anyone interested in the 8-track audio format, also known as Stereo 8 or 8-Track.
Our goal is to gather and share as much knowledge and useful information as possible about both 8-track cartridges and playback equipment – whether it concerns car players, portable devices, tape players or home stereo/hi-fi components.
We want to build a vibrant 8-track community in Norway and the Nordic region, and eventually also open up to a broader community in Europe. Welcome to a website made by enthusiasts – for enthusiasts!
